I remember when I used to intern at a criminal defense attorney’s office, and man, it was a lot of work. It took discipline and passion to get through the finish line because you are directly representing the client, and usually there is no boss you can report to. You are responsible for justice. So what does it really look like to be a criminal defense lawyer, and how do the lessons of a criminal defense lawyer translate into being fit to practice law?
