In many ways, we are all introverted in some way. Especially when we doubt ourselves, it’s hard to be all open and happy about our doubts. Heidi Brown, a prolific and prominent writer and professor, joins me today to tell us what it really means to address our anxiety around being a lawyer. There are so many uncomfortable experiences attached to being a lawyer, and she helps us unpack that anxiety without the overwhelm. I don’t know about you, but there are plenty of times where I try to just ignore my feelings and distract myself from doing the work. Thankfully, Heidi talks about how we can make it easier so that we don’t resist the work that allow us to feel happier.
