So, this is the first time I’ve had a university counsel on my podcast, and speaking with Lisa Lang, General Counsel of Kentucky State University, has been eye-opening and relatable at the same time. In this episode, we just have a fun conversation about what it means to build a balanced life, and how that is not just leaving work at work and being home at home. We also talk about what a good parent might mean and how that might be different for everybody - this is for not just myself but also for others who might be wanting some out of the box guidance when they feel any mommy shame or mommy guilt. And we also talk about leadership, how building a team and being open and vulnerable and having fun at your job is all key to wanting to wake up and go to work.
