I posted a few weeks ago about how my boss, Tom, had asked for my registry, and when he got it he secretly forwarded it to everybody in the office, and he bought a crib, and at least half the cost of the registry was accounted for, and then, I didn’t mention this in my post because it happened the day after I posted and before Tom knew about the post, he threw me a surprise baby shower at work, where I got another slew of gifts. Tom and I were pretty surprised to hear that something like this is not as common as we’d like it to be, because almost four thousand people (at the time of this recording) reacted to the post, and hundreds of people commented and shared the post. To him, it was such a natural course of business for him to think of this team and be generous to his team, and in this episode we just get a glimpse of what kind of person he is, his general personality and attitude in how he leads the way he does. I was really proud to share more of Tom with the world and spread the word that kindness is not a weakness but the ultimate strength. For the man behind the viral post, tune in, and I hope you enjoy.
